She was predeceased by: her spouse Edward S. Harris; and her child Susan J. Mills. She is survived by: her daughter Susie; her child-in-law James D. Mills of Hull; her siblings, Antoinette King, Ann Luker and William Polito; her grandchildren, Stephen J. Mills (Amy) of Holbrook and Ashley J. Mills (Josh White); and her great grandchild Molly Mills. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Barbara may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
