He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Virginia O'Brien (Rossi) and Herbert A. Holbrook, Sr.; and also Jean Marie Fotino. He is survived by: his parents, Joyce M. Holbrook (O'Brien) of Hingham and Herbert A. Holbrook, Jr. of Mattapoisett; his children, Dylan A. Holbrook and Georgia S. Holbrook; his siblings, Emily K. Sheehan (Robert) of Holbrook and Adam Holbrook (Erinrose) of Marshfield; his grandparents, John F. O'Brien of Randolph and Theresa Holbrook (Banda); and his aunts and uncles, John O'Brien of Hull, Dennis O'Brien of Randolph, Virginia Melia of Naples, FL, Christine Jope (Rick) of Holbrook, Lisa Holbrook, Lori Bridge Holbrook and David O'Brien. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to either the Dana Farber Cancer Institute or to the American Heart Assoc.
