He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Rode and Augustine Rode; his wife Dianne Rode (Loretz); his children, Robert A. Rode, Jr. (Jacqueline), Gregory Rode (Barbara) of Heath, James Rode of Erving, Christina Ellis (Robert) of North Carolina and Dianna Rode Walton of New Zealand; his brother Arthur Rode, Jr. (Rose); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Loretz (Carolyn) and Claudette Baker. He was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
