She was predeceased by: her sister Gail Bissell; her nephew James; her niece Stacy Bissell; and her close friend Esther Purinton. She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Herrera (Dominic Baird) and Susanne Weis (George); her granddaughters, Amanda Perrone (Matthew) and Samantha Weis; her brother-in-law Verne Bissell; her nephew Mark Bissell (Sara); and also Kim Gerry.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Trinity Church, where Phyllis spent many hours worshiping and giving back to the community.
