She was predeceased by: her parents, Olga Syvanen (Jokiniemi) and Frans Syvanen; her husband Ernest Thane of Maynard; her former husband Douglas Stetson; her sons, David Thane and William Thane; her sisters, Laila Syvanen and Sylvia Erkkinen; and her stepgranddaughter Hannah Coye.

She is survived by: her children, Beverly Cable and Steven Thane (Nancy); her children-in-law, Phyllis Thane and Jack Cable; and her stepchildren, Neil "Skip" Stetson (Rosemary), Brian "Buzz" Stetson (Amy), Bruce "Mickey" Stetson (Jodie) and Debbie Coye (Bob). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, including two great-great-grandchildren.
