She was predeceased by: her parents, Ismael Alvarez and Maria Escalera; and her sister Wanda Alvarez. She is survived by: her children, Kassy Rodriguez of Haverhill and Thomas Alvarez of Chicago, IL; and her siblings, Nicholas, Margarita, Aida, Sonia, Wilfredo, Mayra, Soralla and Mireya.
