He is survived by: his children, Brian P. Shanahan (Katherine) of Haverhill, Patrick J. Shanahan of Haverhill, Timothy R. Shanahan of Haverhill, Colleen M. Shanahan and Steven Blaney of Haverhill; his grandchildren, Shamus Pierce, Delaney Pierce, Abigail Blaney, Robert Shanahan, Madelyn Shanahan and James Shanahan; his sisters, Geraldine Wasilweski (Richard) of Adams, Jean Lord (Alan) of Groveland and Kathleen Kervin of Groveland; and his brother-in-law Richard Francis of Raymond, NH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
