It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Whitton of Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 17, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Arahovites and Josephine Pappas (Arahovites); her stepfather Anthony Pappas; her husband James F. Whitton, Jr.; her former husband Emile Daigneault; her son Alan Daigneault; and her siblings, Pauline Arahovites and John Arahovites.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol; her children-in-law, Arthur Vekos of Haverhill and Jackie Daigneault of Haverhill; her grandchildren, Robert Vekos (Kathy), Gregory Vekos, Lisa Roy (Andy), Cheryl Kenney (Thomas), Stephanie Lavoie, Christina Greenwood (Tim), David Daigneault (Colleen) and Dawn Arahovites (Michael); and her stepchildren, Robert Whitton (Roberta), Donna Morse (Paul) and Judy Easley (Charles). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Childrens' Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN or to Shriners Hospital of Boston, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA.
