He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Whittier and Mary Whittier (Allen). He is survived by: his wife Elena M. Whittier (Chronis); his children, Tyler and Lauren; his siblings, Frederick S. Whittier (Gina) of Sandown, NH and Mary Brisson (Rock) of Chester, NH; his mother-in-law Marion Chronis of Georgetown, MA; his sisters-in-law, Gina Velonis and Dianne Duckworth; and also, Nick Velonis and Dave Duckworth of Salem, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Scott's memory to High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA, or On the Wing wildlife rehabilitation center in Epping, NH.
