It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose M. Boland of Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rose M. Boland to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Scalia and Angelina Scalia; her siblings, Richard, Angelo and Franny; and her husband Jim.

She is survived by: her children, Jim (Cheryl), Marianne Howard (Chris), Andrea Marmo (Jim), Matt (Cristina) and Bob (Shelby); and her friends, Heather Langlois and Marilyn Sweeney. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

“I met Rose at Wingate Residences where I was an activities assistant. She and Jim used to love to compete in Bocce! Covid relegated me to the reception desk, but I still had great talks with Rose. I discovered that my boyfriend used to play basketball with their son on Leroy Ave! Small world. We will all miss Rose as she is much beloved in the Wingate community. So sorry for your loss. -Lisa Erikson”
