It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberto Melendez (Haverhill, Massachusetts), born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on January 1, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fransisco Cruz and Teresa Melendez. He is survived by: his sons, Roberto Cruz Jr. of Puerto Rico, Ismael Cruz of Bronx, NY and Luis Omar Cruz of Reading, PA; and his siblings, James Melendez of Haverhill, Angelina Marquez of Philadelphia, PA, Sandra Cruz of Hoboken, NJ and Marta Carpo of York, PA. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
