Robert L. Gillespie Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert L. Gillespie of Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 25, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Gillespie and Marion Gillespie (Allison); his wife Nancy A. Gillespie; and his sister Marlene Mayo. He is survived by: his children, Michael Gillespie of Haverhill and Julie Gillespie of Haverhill; his brothers, Kevin Gillespie (Nancy) of Reading and Gerald Gillespie (Jackie) of Middleboro; and his brother-in-law Charles DiFonzo of Bedford, NH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the H. L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home - Haverhill (106 Summer St, Haverhill, MA 01830). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
