He was predeceased by: his wife Norma J. Maffeo (Blatchford); his parents, Angelo A. Maffeo and Madelyn Maffeo (Porcella); his son Angelo A. "Tony" Maffeo; and his brother Joseph Maffeo.

He is survived by: his children, Dianne (Peter Aziz), Christine (Al Goldstein), Roger (Debra Maffeo), Robin Gulubicki of Atkinson, NH and Andrea Maffeo; his grandchildren, Eric, Nicole Goldstein, Matthew, Emily Goldstein, Alicia Taylor, Shane Maffeo, Sarah Goldstein, Brianna, Ashley Twomey and Abigail Gulubicki; his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Drew, Ayden, Rylee and Luke; and his siblings, Theresa Chute of Haverhill, Madelyn Young of Haverhill and Michael Maffeo of Haverhill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
