With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert A. James (Haverhill, Massachusetts), born in Churchville, New York, who passed away on October 30, 2019 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dorothy Bell and Earl James; his pet Rocky; his wife Rev. Janet James; his children, Kathryn Wilder Basson (David Basson), Robert Allen James, Jr. (Staci Huber) and Amanda James Chapman (Luke Chapman); his grandchildren, Sebastien Allen Basson, Ethan Ellis Basson and Robert Allen James, III; his siblings, Lynn Lays and Kenneth James; and his stepsister Susan Woehr. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

For years, even as his Parkinson's disease became more debilitating, he remained an active part of his growing family.
