He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden J. Boyd and Lillian Boyd (Smith); and his sisters, Beatrice (White), Jean (Nichols) and Eleanor (Hood).
He is survived by: his sons, Jason Boyd and Douglas Boyd; his grandchildren, Lucas and Jaina Boyd; and his brother-in-law Charlie White. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
