He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpheus Hatch and Nellie Hatch (Dowling); and his sister Gertrude Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Peggy A. Hatch (Chapinski); his children, Kathi A. (Stephen Bednarek) of Haverhill, Kimberly A. (Robert Holmes) of Derry, NH, Richard A. Hatch, Jr. (Rebecca) of Methuen and Robert A. Hatch of Haverhill; his daughter-in-law Erica Twombly of Manchester, NH; his sister Mary Geiger of Maine; his grandchildren, Bianca Rudis, Robert Hatch, Jr., Danika Holmes, Nicholas Holmes, Joshua, Joseph, Emma Bednarek and Monty Hatch; his great grandchildren, Julia, Landon, Logan and Connor; and his siblings, Earl Bartlett and Elaine Wheedleton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
