It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Francis Scanlon (Haverhill, Massachusetts), born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Scanlon and Yvonne Scanlon (Frechette); his wife Evelyn C. Scanlon (Williams); and his brother Phillip Scanlon. He is survived by: his children, Catherine E. (Timothy Payson) of Northport, FL, Francis T. Scanlon, Deborah of Lee, NH, Judith A. (Stephen Berezansky) of Haverhill, Thomas A. Scanlon (Jo-Dee) of Ogunquit, ME and Christine Lamprey of Salem, NH; his siblings, Richard Scanlon of Laconia, NH, Lucille Bourque of Haverhill, Kathleen Knightly of Lawrence, Claire Byrd, Rita Belair and Frances Powers; and his grandson John Joseph Payson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
