She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Gates and Addie Gates (June). She is survived by: her husband Michael Mahoney; her sons, Patrick Mahoney (Dannielle) of Haverhill and Michael Mahoney Jr. (Jessica) of Haverhill; her grandchildren, Patrick Mahoney, Isabella Mahoney and Charlotte Mahoney; her stepgrandson Antonio Stuckey; her sister Anne Perkins; and her niece Dawn Macallan (Michael). She is also survived by her family and friends at the home her husband, family and friends.
Due to the pandemic, a private family funeral service will be celebrated at West Parish Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (Gift Funds: Linda Mahoney St. Jude Memorial Fund-Gift Funds for St. Jude).
