He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Scherr and Shirley Scherr (Sherman). He is survived by: his children, Brian and Rebecca; his stepson Nicholas; his granddaughter Gaia; his daughter-in-law Lamia; and his brother Alan. He is also survived by his wife, children, and granddaughter.
