It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joy Ann Zagarella of Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zagarella, Sr. and Georgianna Zagarella (Roberto). She is survived by: her siblings, John Zagarella Jr. (Karen Griffin), Dawn Said (Hassan), Trish, Christy Zagarella and Ilona Roll (Stephen); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Liam, Christopher, Leo, Luca, Carina and Gabriel; her aunt Geraldine Zagarella (John Jainchill); and her uncle Jerry O'Leary. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the H. L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home (210 S Main St, Bradford, MA 01835). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Monica Church (212 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844).
The family will establish an official Joy Zagarella memorial scholarship in her honor through the Friends of CRLS and ask that, in lieu of flowers, those who are moved to do so contribute a donation in her memory at https://focrls.org.
