With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph A. McGillivary of Haverhill, Massachusetts, born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 5, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth F. McGillivary and Dorothy L. McGillivary; his grandmothers, Kathleen Sheehan and Helen McGillivary; his nephew James; his niece Heather; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Esty and Mark Knowles.
He is survived by: his son John O'Connor (Enilse); his grandchildren, Julianna and John Michael O'Conner; his siblings, Kathleen Esty, Deborah Grace (Joseph Grace), Kenneth, Karen Knowles, Elizabeth McDougall (Daniel McDougall), Marilyn (Gordon Goveny) and James; and his aunts, Priscilla Coleville, Noel DeYoung, Sharon Weldon and Margie Cusick. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
