He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene Burnell (Rollins); his parents, Milton Burnell and Eleanor Burnell (Page); his siblings, Paul Burnell, Frances Maclean and Carol Suleski; and his brother-in-law Raymond Rodier.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa A. Johnson (Matthew) of Haverhill and Stephen J. Burnell (Cheryl) of Haverhill; his grandchildren, Brett Johnson and Jessica Burnell; his great grandchild Hunter Hatfield-Lyon; and his siblings, Richard Burnell (Betty) of Haverhill, Norman Burnell (Donna) of Lewiston, ME and Marlene Rodier of Candia, NH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
