She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Mears and Mary Mears (Shannahan); her husband Gary L Cook Sr.; her sister Betty Kareckas; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Smith, Richard Cook and Arthur Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberley Tobin (Michael), Gary L Cook Jr. and Chad Cook (Erika); her granddaughter Ashley Cook; her brothers, Bill Mears (Janice) and Fred Mears (Audrey); and her siblings-in-law, Tim Kareckas and Helen Cook. She is also survived by her husband also leaves many lifelong friends.
