With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janice (Scamporino) Furlong of Haverhill, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janice left this world on December 18, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Scamporino (Strangman) and Raymond Scamporino; her daughter Debora Wentworth; and her sisters, Evelyn Young and Judith Mackie.
She is survived by: her friend Carl I. Furlong; her husband Carl; her daughter Linda Kelly (Chris); her sisters, Shirley Lucia (Danny) and Joan Easterling (Horace); her brother-in-law Tom Mackie; her son-in-law Nate Wentworth; her grandchildren, Ashley Kernan (Zach), Matthew Wentworth (Erin), Jonathan Wentworth (Lauren), Connor and Brooke Kelly; her great grandchildren, Grady, Beckham Wentworth, Kasey and Madison Kernan; and her sons, Bradford and Haverhill. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Hearts Church (165 S Main St, Haverhill, MA 01835). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
