She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Henry and Mabel Kapp (Cohen); her husband Kenneth H. Kopel; her sisters, Helen Orenstein (Kapp) of Salisbury, MA and Barbara Berman (Kapp) of Hartford, CT; and her siblings-in-law, Sylvia Goldstein (Kopel), Dorothy Kopel, Jerome Orenstein and Bernard Kopel.
She is survived by: her sons, Allan Kopel of Haverhill, MA, Assistant and Attorney Henry K. Kopel (Dawn Weiner Kopel) of Woodbridge, CT; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Liss and Joseph Kopel. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Temple Emanu-El (Haverhill) or the charity of one's choice.
