He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. Boland and Mary Boland (Cronin); and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Jim (Cheryl), Marianne Howard (Chris), Andrea Marmo (Jim), Matt (Cristina) and Bob (Shelby); and his friends, Danny Lucia, Heather Langlois and Marilyn Sweeney. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
