It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ioannis Kakouris of Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nikolaos Kakouris and Anastasia Kakouris; his brother Dimitrios Kakouris of Greece; his mother-in-law Labrothea Tsagaris of Haverhill, MA; and his sister-in-law Dora Karapanagiotis (Miltiadi) of Greece.
He is survived by: his wife Marigoula Kakouris; his son Nick Kakouris (Suzanne) of Atkinson, NH; his grandchildren, Niko, Alex and Dimitri Kakouris; his son Ilias Kakouris (Joanne) of West Newbury, MA; his grandchildren, Danielle Soteropoulos, Kayla Rose, Chiara Campanella and Yanni Kakouris; his sisters, Christina Douvis (Spero) of Canada and Panagiota Bretakou of Greece; his sisters-in-law, Artemis Karavetsos (Costa) of Haverhill, MA, Eugenia Tsagaris (late Valsami Tsagaris) of Greece and Georgia Sainopoulos (late Taki) of Greece; and his son Yanni.
