She was predeceased by: her husband James C. "Chickie" Dempsey; her parents, Daniel and Katherine (Neagley); her children, Karen Dempsey and Michael Dempsey; and her siblings, Dennis, Thomas, Austin, Frank, Edward, Joseph, Richard Hayes, Mary Pillsbury and Lillian Levasseur.
She is survived by: her sons, James P. Dempsey (Kathleen) of Dunnellon, FL, Kevin G. Dempsey of Haverhill and Brian S. Dempsey (Julie) of Haverhill; her grandchildren, Michael (Dena), Jennifer, Meghan, Kevin, James, Jacob, Ryan (Taylor), Tyler and Brittany Dempsey; her great grandchildren, Johanna, Brenden, Carson and Ava Dempsey; and her sister-in-law Mickey Hayes. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
