It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen MacKnight of Haverhill, Massachusetts, born in Malden, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends can send flowers and/or light a candle as a loving gesture for their loved one. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Avjian and Mary Avjian (Hutchinson); her husband Kenneth MacKnight; and her siblings, Adeline Ruggles, Ralph and James Avjian.

She is survived by: her children, Richard MacKnight (Marie), Donna Cardarelli (Michael) and Kim Scanlon (Michael); her grandchildren, Erin Parker (MacKnight), Kyle MacKnight, Joshua Miano (Leah), Jill Doherty (Jim), Stephen Cardarelli, Elise Comeau (Joe) and Matthew Scanlon; and her brother Albert Avjian (Walter) of North Reading. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
