He is survived by: his wife Eleni Stamateas (Makraki); his sons, Vagelis (Darlene Stamateas) of Dracut and Panayiotis (Peter) of Haverhill; his grandchildren, Jordan and Zackary Stamateas; his siblings, Venetti Stamateas (Maria) of Haverhill and Potoula Yannakoureas (late Socrates Yannakoureas); and his niece Despoula Alekou (Yannakoureas). He is also survived by daughter.
