He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Cook and Cecile (Vigeant); his siblings, Richard Cook and Shirley Smith; his sister-in-law Betty Kareckas; and his parents-in-law, Warren and Mary Mears.
He is survived by: his wife Jean A. Cook (Mears); his children, Kimberley (Michael Tobin) of Saco, ME, Gary L. Cook Jr. of Haverhill and Chad M. Cook (Erika) of Haverhill; his granddaughter Ashley J. Cook; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Mears (Janice), Fred Mears (Audrey), Tim Kareckas and Helen Cook of Haverhill. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
