She was predeceased by: her husband William Joseph O'Neil; her parents, Charles Still and Daisy Still (Chipman); her children, Carolyn Leone and James O'Neil; her granddaughter Amy; her great grandchild Chelsea; and her siblings, Charles Still and Anna Mooradian.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Michael Kennedy), Beverly (Raymond'Skip'Schmidt), Stephen O'Neil of Lawrence, Mary Beth O'Neil of Haverhill, Christine Harding of Haverhill, David O'Neil, Joseph O'Neil (Kelli Laffin), William O'Neil of Manchester, NH and Daniel (Paulette O'Neil); her son-in-law Michael Leone of Framingham; and her cousin Elsie Irvine of Kentville. She is also survived by her 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home (390 N Main St, Andover, MA 01810). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine Church (43 Essex St, Andover, MA 01810).
Due to Barbara's love of dogs and bringing joy to sick children, her family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the Mass General for Children Pet Therapy program.
