He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Louise (Stanton) and John B. Hartmann; his wife Mary Evelyn (Collins); and his brothers, John Hartmann, Donald Stanton and Lawrence Hartmann.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberley A. Murphy (Irving Riley) of East Hampstead, NH and Tammy A. Hartmann of Bradford; his granddaughters, Kaitlin Clark (Jon) of Derry, NH, Jillian Evans (Christopher) of Londonderry, NH and Shannon Morse (Tyler) of Raymond, NH; his great grandchildren, Aibhlinn, Ronan Clark and Evelyn; and his sisters, Ruth Sullivan of Haverhill, Carol Wilson of Lawrence and Marie Gouin (Paul) of Haverhill.
