It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith L. (Skofield) Abbott (Haverhill, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred E. Skofield and Madeline E. Skofield (Tilton); her husband Ray N. Abbott, Jr.; and her siblings, Edward Skofield, Virginia Syvinski, Richard Skofield and Ruth Lacert.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda L. Leeds (George) of Haverhill; her grandchildren, George R. Leeds and Candi Sinotte (Courtney); and her great grandchildren, Alexis of Plaistow and Nicholas Sinotte of Plaistow.
