It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David E. Corthell of Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 30, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Sidney Corthell. He is survived by: his mother Joann Corthell (Warner); his children, Curtis L. Corthell (Elizabeth) of Ipswich and Sarah E. Roche (John, Jr.) of Haverhill; his stepdaughter Samantha L. Wennerberg of Haverhill; his grandsons, Jack Roche and Emmett Roche; and his siblings, Scott Corthell (Michelle) of Plattsburg, NY, Susan Brewster (Edward) of Haverhill, Keith Corthell (Andrea) of Kingston, NH, Richard Corthell, Charron Dean of Lusby, MD, Daniel Corthell (Becky) and Ann Marie Corthell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Appalachian Mountain Club, 10 City Square, Boston, MA 02129.
