She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Sr. Broadnax and Irene Broadnax (Reed); her siblings, Esther Johnson, Evelyn Owens, Margaret Davenport and Everett Broadnax Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Louise Pearce, Ida Bell Mitchum, Princess Palmer, Priscilla Broadnax and Ernest Owens Sr.; and her grandson Darren Tyler.
She is survived by: her husband Cornelius Owens Sr.; her children, Cornelius Owens Jr. of Lynn, MA, Pamela Brown (Peter Brown) of Haverhill and Irene Owens of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Lloyd Owens of Manchester, NH, Talcum Beckett (Jones) of Peoria, IL, Cornelius Owens III (Indhira Catalino), Daniel Danner (Crystal Marshall), Landy Tyler, Jonas Joseph, Joseph Danner-Hicks, Joshua Danner-Hicks (Caitlin Danner-Hicks), Derek Owens, Emmanuel Owens, Tasha Owens (Nelson Santiago) and Renae Johnson; and her siblings, Edith Drayton of Haverhill and Richard Broadnax Sr. of Haverhill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
