We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2021, at the age of 83, Barbara Ann (Papavacil) Rowell (Haverhill, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Papavacil and Anna Papavacil (Serratora). She is survived by: her children, Robert C. Rowell Jr. (Patricia) of Haverhill, MA, Carl J. Rowell of Dover, NH, Barbara Jean Rowell of Haverhill, MA, Regina A. Rowell (Rhonda G. Harriman) of Newton, NH and Darlene R. Miller (Steven) of Bradford, MA; her grandchildren, Lydia A. Miller of Bradford, MA and Robert C. Rowell III of Haverhill, MA; her sisters, Demetra Cohen of Newburyport, MA, Joanne Robinson of Haverhill, MA, Sandra Danielson of Newburyport, MA and Paula Langlois (Paul) of Hampstead, NH.; and her aunt Elizabeth Torossian of Haverhill, MA. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family has requested face coverings and maintain social distancing at the funeral home and church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, the American Heart Assoc. or the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill.
