He is survived by: his children, Michael Hamilton (Jasmine Ward) of Brownfield and Kayla Santos (Melvin) of Lawrence, MA; his grandchildren, Rowan Miles Hamilton, Kalvin Santos, Kasaiyah and Kaysha Santos; his stepfather Norman C. Lowther of Haverhill; and his sisters, Doreen Peluso (Jim) of Duncan, AZ, Cynthia Aragon (Arthur) of Murrieta, CA, Michelle Robinson (Dave Cook) of Ashland, KY, Donna Kee (Stephen) of Haverhill and Kathleen S. Hamilton (Timothy Carey) of Exeter, NH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He also worked at the Glynn Memorial with Alzheimer patients.
