He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Bower and Laura Bower (Gattenby); his sons, Stephen Bower of Methuen and Mark Bower of Haverhill; and his grandson Trevor Corde.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Williams of Bradford; his close friend Grace Torisi Hamilton of Methuen; his brother George; his sister-in-law Laurine Bower of Newton, Massachusetts; his children, Arthur and Linda Bower of Methuen; and his daughters-in-law, Jennifer Hamilton Bower of Methuen, Margaret (George Corde), Elizabeth Bower (Thomas) of Methuen, Martha Bower of Newburyport, Karen Bower (Brian Bower) of Haverhill and Jessica Thrower of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.. He is also survived by nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
