She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Squires and Leila Squires (Day); and her son John M. Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence R. Putnam of Sutton, MA; and her children, Deborah J. Day Cummings (Douglas) of Andover, MA, Douglas J. Thompson of Newton, NH, Beth A. Thompson-Young (Alan) of Paso Robles, CA, William H. Thompson of Anson, ME, Faith E. Tucker (Garett) of Stratford, NH, Walter A. Thompson of Haverhill, MA and Leila J. Thompson of Deerfield, NH. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA.
