Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Anthony Gibbons of Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 86, on January 6, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony M. Gibbons and Anne Gibbons (Ward); and his sister Anne Lynch. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine M. Gibbons (Silva); his children, Maria Gibbons of Haverhill, Courtney Bay (MeKenna) and Matthew Rita (Teagan Allen); and his siblings, Mary Lou Gullage (James) of Braintree, William Gibbons and James Gibbons. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas of Villanova Church (126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887).
