He is survived by: his son Kurt Vernon Christensen (Jane); his wife Marybeth Christensen (McCann Pomeroy); his grandchildren, Ian Vernon Christensen (Lindsay) and Kaitlyn Christensen Sacco (John); his great grandchildren, John Peter Sacco, Jr. and Joseph Vernon Sacco; his stepson Robert S. Pomeroy (Eleanor); his nephew Lee Stine (Pat); his great-nephew Ned; his nephew Larry (Judy); and his daughters, Sally Pfaeffle and Susie Linderman.
