He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Harold McElroy and Helen McElroy (Swierzbinski); his family NJ; his wife Kim Kassner; his children, Timothy, Lorie (Donald Sauvigne), Jennifer Downing (Scott), Neil and Meghan (Fitzpatrick); his grandchildren, Shawn, Sarah (Cole Morgan), Jack and Abigail; and his stepchildren, Elizabeth and Timothy.
