He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan Gallagher; his parents, Willard McKinny and Sherlet McKinny (Sachariason); his children, Katherine McKinny, Carlyn Setchell (Gregory) of Plymouth, MA, Mari McKinny (Brian Rettelle) of Wheat Ridge, CO and Reed McKinny (Xinyi) of San Jose, CA.; his siblings, Barbara Plowman (Don), John McKinny (Carmen) of Washington and Betty; his brother-in-law William Gallagher of Wheeling, WV; his close friend Bryan Gaume; his brothers, Jon Petersen (Pete), John Taylor, John Scartland, Ron Eilers, Dick Hoye, Chris Evans and Mark Rhoe; his close friends, Australian Shepherds Selkie and Ronan; his grandchildren, Chandler, Chapman McKinny, Isla and Liam Rettelle; and also, Patricia (Pat), Jason Bologna (Maria Carrillo), Cristina Bologna, Nolan, Lucas McGrann, Mark Bologna (Shauna Ferris) and Laura Bologna (Mike Young).
