He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Shannahan (John) of Holliston, Karen Shaw (Jonathan) of West Chester, PA, Bernard D. Doherty Jr. (Carolyn) of Framingham and Michelle Goncalves (Jaime) of Hopkinton; his sisters-in-law, Joan Doherty of Norwood and Carol Kenney of Hampton, NH.; and his cousin Theodore Doherty of Lynnfield, MA.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
