We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2021, at the age of 87, Thomas P. Johnson Sr. of Harwich Port, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Johnson (McNeil) and Frederick Henry Johnson III; his brother Leo Johnson (Marie); and his son-in-law Dallas Duell. He is survived by: his wife Beverly of Harwich Port, MA; his children, Christine Johnson-Duell of Harwich, MA and Tom Johnson, Jr. (TJ); his grandchildren, Nicole Johnson of New York, NY, Ryan Johnson of New York, NY and Abigail Duell of Sturbridge, MA; his brother Frederick Johnson III (Margaret); his nephew Jonathan Yalmokas (Jessica); his niece Rebecca Sheehan (Teige) of Albany, NY; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack Yalmokas, Rose Sheehan, Maggie Yalmokas, Cormac Sheehan and Katie Yalmokas. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

“Beverly and family It is truly sad to read about Tom's passing, We go way back to Babcock/Devotion St. in Brookline. He was two years older but we were great neighborhood friends. He encouraged me to join the Military Police Co of the MNG. I stayed in 10 years but Tom found a military career in his "part time" . A superb career as an educator and huge accomplishments. Always willing to tell it like it is and really insightful messages in the newspaper. He'll be missed. My prayers go out to all”
