Cynthia Barton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2024, at the age of 93, Cynthia Barton of Harvard, Massachusetts, born in New York, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hodgson and Alice Hodgson; her husband David Barton of Hanover, NH; her former husband John R. Butler of Plymouth, MA; and her stepdaughter Nancy Barton.

She is survived by: her children, Susan B. Kling (Chase) of Orford, NH, Pamela Butler Kahn of New York, NY and Samuel R. Butler (Rebecca) of Saco, ME; her grandchildren, Ernst Kling (Fiona) of Lyme, NH, Kristen Daisey (Aaron) of Pike, NH and Matthew Butler (Nicole Colella) of Saco, ME; and her stepchildren, Margaret, Alice, Linda, Fred, Bill and Allen.
