He was predeceased by : his parents, Mae Ada (Channin) and William McLean; his siblings, Marjorie Foley, Winifred Cummings, Dora Schenk and Arthur; and his former life partner Carol Smith.
He is survived by : his wife Jean McLean (Powers); his children, Mary Alice McLean (Michael Reese) of Rockland, Elizabeth McLean of Thomaston, Matthew McLean of Boston, Mark McLean (Rachel) of Marlborough and Kim McLean of Portland, Maine.; and his grandsons, Mitchell McLean of Somerville, Kyle McLean of Marlborough, Dylan of Rockland Maine and Jason Reese of Rockland Maine. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
