She was predeceased by: her husband Arvid O. Silverberg; her son Arvid O. Silverberg, Jr.; and her parents, Clarence I. Knox and Alice M. Knox (Walker). She is survived by: her children, Robert K. Silverberg (Sandy) of Collierville, TN, Elsa Bates of Lodi, CA, Alison Messina of Lexington, KY, Heidi Jeldres of Hardwick and Robin Dawson of Lexington, KY; and her siblings, C. Joseph, Frederick, Albert, Roy Knox, Ernestine Phipps and Alice Sharp. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson and a large extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the George Whitefield United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 576, West Brookfield, MA 01585.

Mrs. Silverberg was such a wonderful part of my childhood, especially through the George Whitefield United Methodist Church. She raised a wonderful family and was always so sweet and warm.
