He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Apfel and Jeanne Apfel (Beaudin). He is survived by: his children, Kristin Mahoney (Chris) of Missouri City, TX, Matthew Apfel (Christina) of Hanover and Melissa Apfel of Holbrook; his former wife Joan Apfel of Hanson; his brother Fred Apfel; and his grandchildren, Ryan, John Mahoney, Matty and Daniella Apfel.
